Women who prefer men's suits

Two design bloggers stood one next to the other at the Stampd presentation amid the second day of New York Fashion Week: Men's. Each wore a freshly custom fitted suit with white tennis shoes that seemed to have been saved an experience with the road.

Meet Danielle Cooper, 31, a previous expert ball player from California who runs the web journal She's a Gent, and Sara Geffrard, 24, a previous artist from Haiti and the lady behind A Dapper Chick.

"When I wear a suit, I sense that I can do things I would not generally do," Ms. Geffrard said. "I'm an, exceptionally timid individual, however in the event that I'm in a suit, I feel extremely sure. I have an inclination that I can converse with whoever. Else I would stroll in and feel kind of little."

Ms. Cooper said: "We're in a time when men and ladies wear everything. It doesn't make a difference in case you're gay or straight. For us, it's truly about indicating young ladies that they can wear whatever they need."

Their way to deal with design bodes well in a period when the performer artist Jaden Smith wears skirts, the rapper Young Thug proclaims that there's no such thing as sexual orientation, and Teen Vogue's recommendation section offers tips for making sense of your sex personality. Charge Cunningham of The New York Times caught the ladies with his lens in February and called their style of dress "completely brilliant."

At the Stampd presentation a week ago, Ms. Cooper and Ms. Geffrard wound their way through the group, sharing perceptions about the garments. Calling attention to some olive-green shorts, Ms. Geffrard said they helped her to remember the free cut well known in the '90s. "Be that as it may, he moved the pockets to the front to make the look more present day," she said of Chris Stamp's configuration.

Ms. Cooper included that they helped her to remember the apparel worn by individuals from the military (her dad having been one of them). "He's taking that old-school viewpoint and making it for the new era, hoisting the freight pocket," she said.
